Selous is a pristine game reserve and largest in in Africa. The abundance of water in the reserve makes it a suitable habitat for the large and small mammals. Since Selous is in close proximity to the city of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's business brings positive impact to the reserve.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous Game Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 0830 and be transferred to Selous Game Reserve. There will be a picnic lunch en-route and we will arrive in Selous for evening game drive (Dar es Salaam - Selous 7 hrs by road). Dinner and overnight in Mbega tented Camp or Special Campsite. Half Board.

Day 2: Full day in Selous Game Reserve
Sunrise Game drive with bush breakfast. Selous is a home to large population of elephant, a big number of buffalo and wild dog. Other species commonly seen are lion, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, kudus and crocodile. Lunch will be served at Behobeho Tented Lodge, where you will also stay overnight.
* Picnic lunch can be arranged for those who consider camping Safaris and they will stay at Tigalala Campsite

Day 3: Full day in Selous Game Reserve
Early breakfast, followed by walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger guide. Our Driver Guide will pick you somewhere and drive you back for hot lunch. After a short rest, we will depart for boat excursion on the Rufiji River. The River is full of crocodiles and hippos and many water birds. You will leave the boat at sunset and be transferred to the lodge or campsite.

Day 4-5: Sun rise through sun set in Selous
Take a Sunrise Excursions with a bush breakfast, followed by a game drive. A visit to Selous Grave and Stigler Gorge will be done during these days as well as wildlife viewing. Hot lunch or picnic lunch can be arranged on your request. After a short rest, there will be a sunset game drive. Overnight at Sandriver Lodge or Tigalala Campsite Lodge

Day 6: Selous Game Reserve – Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, we drive or fly back to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar. A picnic lunch on the way will be available for driving tours. You will arrive in Dar es Salaam in the late afternoon.
