MG 021, 15 Days: Ruaha-
Mikumi and Udzungwa
The safari takes you to explore the best of southern
southern circuit, for game drive, walking safari and boat
excursion for 11 nights. It will give you enough time at
each park. You will explore the areas where upon you will
have a chance see the rare SABLE and ROAN. Variety of
reptiles and with different species of birds. You will
therefore enjoy and experience the nature close to you.
Day 1 - Ruaha N.P
After breakfast we take a lunch box and depart for Ruaha
National Park, where you will arrive in the evening. Sunset
game drive dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge or
Campsite. Half Board.
Day 2-3: Game drives in Ruaha N.P
Game drive in Ruaha National Park. Roan and Sable Antelope,
Hippo, Crocodile, Waterbuck, Reedbuck and Buffalo venture
onto the rivers edge to drink water, attracting the
predators. See Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Wild dog and jackal.
This park boasts rare antelopes including Sable. Walking in
the wilderness includes a visit to one of Africa’s most
historical sites ”The stone age ruins at Ismila”. Birds like
Eurasia migrates come to the park twice a year. You will
have all meals and overnight in Lodge/Campsite. Full Board.
Day 4: Ruaha – Mikumi N.P
After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Mikumi
National Park with packed lunch and game drive en-route.
Short rest in Mikumi Wildlife lodge/Vuma Hill Tented Camp,
or at the Campsite and dinner and stay overnight. Full
Board.
Day 5: Full day in Mikumi N.P
Breakfast, depart for Mikumi for evening game drive in the
park until sunset. Well over 300 species of birds have been
observed in this park. You will have your lunch and dinner
and overnight in at the lodge.
Day 6: Mikumi – Udzungwa Mountains N.P
Early morning game drives in Mikumi park followed by
breakfast at the lodge, followed by a short rest. After
lunch, depart for Udzungwa Mountains National park arriving
in the afternoon. Overnight in Tented Camp or Budget
Campsite. Full Board.
Day 7: Walking in Udzungwa Park
After Breakfast in at the Camp then leave hiking with your
lunch box to Sanje waterfalls, experience the stunning
natural beauty of the park. Red Colobus Monkey and beautiful
park scenery, Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 8: Udzungwa Mts N.P – Dar es Salam
After breakfast, check out from the Camp and travel back to
Dar es Salaam. Half Board |
