Our Kilimanjaro Backpacker Trekking packages are designed to offer you affordable prices with top quality service.  Our packages offer you comfortable bed and breakfast accommodations before and after your trek at one of Arusha/Moshi's great economy hotels.  All hotels are in close proximity to local restaurants where you can experience some of the local culture and cuisine.  We also offer you the option of adding an extra acclimatization day before your trek with the opportunity for a little adventure on a visit to Arusha National Park or to do some shopping in the city.  All our packages offer you the highest quality service on Kilimanjaro with your safety as our #1 concern.

What's included in the Backpacker Trekking Itinerary

Arrival day includes:

·         Transportation from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our driver will be  

          waiting for you when you arrive!

·         Night's accommodations at an Arusha/Moshi hotel (depending on availability)

·         Kilimanjaro briefing conducted by your guide

Optional day: Optional acclimatization Day w/ options of a trip to Arusha National Park (add $150) and/or shopping trip to Arusha

Mountain day services include (# of days depends on the route you choose):

·         Breakfast at your hotel and transportation to Kilimanjaro trail gate

·         Guide, porter and cook services and National Park fees

·         Full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner)

·         Mountain Hardware tents, mess tents and chairs, chemical toilets (except   

          Marangu route)

·         Hot water provided each night and morning for sponge bath 

Mountain descent Day includes:

·         Kilimanjaro lunch celebration at Mweka Gate

·         Transportation from Kilimanjaro back to your hotel

·         Night's accommodation at an Arusha/Moshi hotel

Departure day includes:

·         Breakfast at your hotel

·         Transportation to Kilimanjaro International Airport or to your safari departure

Packages do not include:

·         Lunch, dinner and beverages while not on the mountain, tips for drivers, guides,  

          porters and cooks, personal climbing gear, international airfare, Tanzania visa,    

          charges incurred for services outside the itinerary, trip insurance, medical

          expenses related to injuries while in Africa.
